What to expect
at your first session
Our first session starts by taking a comprehensive history about your general health, pelvic health, bladder and bowel habits, obstetric/gynaecological history, and sexual health. An internal vaginal exam may be recommended following this. Although it is not always needed, it allows a more detailed assessment of your pelvic floor function. Following our assessment, an individualised plan will be made, which may include pelvic floor strengthening, pelvic floor release, breathing/relaxation techniques, and perhaps some lifestyle changes.
